David L. Acton is Vice President, Business Development for Connexis. Mr. Acton has provided leadership to the automotive engineering and ITS industries for over 30 years. Prior to joining Connexis, Mr. Acton was General Motors' Director of Global Telematics. He also served as Chief Vehicle Engineer for OnStar, and held multiple other senior engineering positions. He is a Director of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) and Chair of its Strategic Planning Committee. He is also a Director of the Convergence Transportation Electronics Association. He was the recipient, in 2005, of the SAE-Delco Electronics ITS Award for distinguished service to the ITS industry.
